Job summary

DEX Imaging is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain copiers, printers, and multifunction devices at customer sites. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues, install and test equipment, and provide top‑notch service during onsite visits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic computer and networking knowledge
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment and technology
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Manufacturer certifications or hands-on experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoot, and repair office technology equipment, including copiers, printers, and multifunction devices
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete routine service calls
• Install, configure, and test equipment at customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support during onsite visits
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair updates clearly
• Manage assigned territory and service schedule efficiently
• Work independently while remaining connected to a supportive service team
• Continue developing your knowledge of office technology, equipment, and manufacturer‑specific service procedures
