Job summary

Acuative, the nation’s leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will spend the majority of time covering the MARKET area providing installation and maintenance services to voice and data networks, servers, computer systems, and retail technology systems.

The role requires physical work, travel to customer sites, and a willingness to work after hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Candidate should possess knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Familiarity with Cisco networking products and CLI.
• Experience with VOIP, PBX, and related telephony systems.
• Experience with desktop/servers hardware and cabling installation.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Support telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems like POS and digital signage.
• Conduct site surveys and audits; extend circuits and cabling.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless antennas.
• Ensure timely submission of job documents and maintain tools/inventory.
