Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician to install and service voice/data networks, servers, and retail technology systems. You will travel to customer sites, perform wiring, cabling, and hardware support, with paid training provided.

A valid license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 50 pounds are required. The role includes a guaranteed baseline schedule, potential overtime, and on-call work.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Cabling and PBX are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems such as POS and digital signage.
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys/audits and maintain documentation.
• Travel to customer sites, work with ladders, power tools, and gear.
