Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations. The role includes installs, removals, and preventive maintenance of hardware, terminals, and POS equipment, with customer-facing responsibilities.

You will train customers, troubleshoot communications, and coordinate with the Data Center to ensure timely service at each location. Occasional overtime, weekends, and travel are required. Valid high school diploma and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non-CDL delivery truck.
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Understanding of troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Exceptional customer satisfaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations.
• Provide a positive customer experience using your customer service and technical skills.
• Communicate the value of our services and match products with customer needs.
• Perform field repair functions including installs and removing terminals and equipment.
• Manage company vehicles per guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Data Center to ensure timeliness at retail locations and troubleshoot problems.
• Record service call information, logs and report data communication problems to management.
• Follows through on customer issues that require additional support.
• Ability to troubleshoot all forms of communications within a retail location.
• Work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
