Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations, perform installs and repairs, and train customers on equipment. You will work client sites, troubleshoot systems, and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.

The role involves driving to locations, coordinating with the Data Center, and providing timely service with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non‑CDL delivery truck.
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience troubleshooting software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Strong customer‑satisfaction orientation.
• Self‑starter with motivation and ability.
• Willing to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasional ladder use.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations.
• Provide a positive customer experience using your customer service and technical skills.
• Communicate the value of our services and match products with customer needs.
• Perform field repairs including installs, removing terminals, and peripherals.
• Manage company vehicles per guidelines.
• Coordinate with Data Center for timely service at locations.
• Record service calls and report data issues to management.
• Troubleshoot communications within retail locations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
