Job summary

Uniti Group Inc., via its Kinetic unit, is seeking a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business services nationwide. You will train with test equipment, work on buried and aerial plant, and help customers choose optimal solutions.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, color discrimination, and completion of safety training. It’s a hands-on field position reporting to the Local Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors and read color-coded cables.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Willingness to complete required safety training and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and use test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
• Work on buried and aerial plant, including pole climbing and ladder work.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Perform tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Adhere to safety standards and report to the Manager of Local Operations.
