Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician for the East Area to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain rotary, screw and centrifugal air compressors, along with related air systems. You will use precision tools and refer to equipment manuals to diagnose issues in customer facilities.

This role requires 2–5 years of field service experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. EPA 608/F-GAS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Experience with compressed air systems, centrifugal technologies, and solid controls is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA 608/F-GAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary, screw, and centrifugal air compressors.
• Provide technical advice and train customers, potential customers, field salesmen, and field service trainees.
• Diagnose problems and submit clear technical reports.
• Submit accurate, detailed expense and time records weekly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of installation and repair requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and management.
