Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components. You will use precision tools, follow manuals, and work with customers to ensure equipment meets requirements.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial mechanical systems, a valid license, and the ability to travel within a 3-hour radius while enjoying a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license for 12+ months, clean record.
• On-call readiness with 24/7 availability during assigned weeks.
• Physically able to perform demanding, hands-on tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanic's tools provided; specialty tools supplied by employer.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers and team in person and in writing.
• Provide pre-commissioning, start-up, installation, and repair support for compressed air systems.
• Promote and explain benefits of preventive maintenance, diagnostics, audits and leak detection.
