Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II focused on Production Print Equipment to diagnose and repair Canon systems at customer sites. You will perform mechanical, software, and network troubleshooting, and provide on-site maintenance and repair services.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible shifts including on-call rotations. We offer competitive hourly pay and a transportation allowance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift and on-call rotations.
• Must obtain security/clearances as required by customers.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stay active over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including troubleshooting.
• Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information and Canon property assigned and provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Provide solutions of escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas for any territory requested.
