Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Columbia, SC to maintain, repair, and support printers, copiers, and related office technology across a defined territory. You will diagnose issues, perform installations and upgrades, and ensure service quality in customer environments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on repair and service experience on office equipment, solid computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician II in Columbia, SC.

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $17.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.
