Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Technician, Field Svc II to perform field service, maintenance, and basic repairs on Canon-supported products. This on-site role requires readiness for shift work and travel to customer sites.

You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, and document findings while supporting multiple product groups. Responsibilities include meeting customer demands with responsive service, maintaining Field Service and Expense Reports, and guiding less experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work 24/7 shift and on-call rotations.
• Must obtain security/clearances as required by customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information and Canon property and provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Provide solutions for escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas for any territory.
