Job summary

Canon USA, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician II in Independence, OH to diagnose and repair Canon equipment across field, shop, and on-site settings. The role requires basic product knowledge, the ability to travel, and flexibility for 24/7 shift coverage. Candidates should have a HS diploma and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• + HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent with 1-2 years related experience.
• + Basic understanding of internet environments and PDIF new‑hire class.
• + Able to travel with valid driver's license and driving record.
• + Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and on-call rotations.
• + Ability to obtain required security clearances as needed.
• + Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active over 50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and escalate issues as needed.
