Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites in Clarks Summit, PA. The role requires basic technical knowledge, a willingness to travel, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotations.

You will maintain reports and Canon property, and may mentor less experienced technicians while meeting customer expectations for timely, accurate service. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Competenze

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record).
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on-call rotations.
• Must undertake steps to obtain security/other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stay active more than 50% of the time.

Mansioni

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and assist senior staff as needed.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical and customer service issues across territories.
