Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of gas compression packages, on-site with limited supervision, and to support progression to Senior role.

Travel is required; 5+ years of experience preferred; CAT/Waukesha certifications are desirable. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and comply with Enerflex safety policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some vocational/technical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of applicable field experience.
• Understanding of CAT/GERP and similar OEM software.
• Experience with natural gas compressor packages and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Submit field and expense reports daily.
• Provide basic leadership and training to junior technicians.
• Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
• Install, commission and service gas compressor packages.
• Complete diagnostics and repairs in the field under limited supervision.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and unit control panels (Murphy, Altronic).
• Assist with installation and start-up inspections of new units.
