Job summary

Enerflex Ltd is seeking a Service Technician I to perform maintenance on gas compression packages, assist with troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of both gas and electric-driven compressors. The role requires the ability to travel, work nights and weekends, and uphold Enerflex safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years in related field service are preferred; candidates must pass pre-employment checks and bring basic trade tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years related field service experience.
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and physical testing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical abilities for servicing gas compressor packages.
• Owns basic trade tools; familiar with standard diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• High amount of travel (multi-state) with short notice, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Represent Enerflex professionally and provide outstanding customer service.
• Submit accurate field service reports, expense reports, and timesheets daily.
• Assist in rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls in the field.
• Support installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections of new units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs independently.
• Work on-site at end-user locations and adhere to safety policies.
