Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Field Technician II to deliver expert onsite installation services for residential customers across Missouri markets. You will install and configure customer equipment, including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways, and ensure a seamless customer experience during service visits.

This role requires travel, the ability to work in various weather conditions, lifting up to 70 lbs, operating bucket trucks, and participating in on-call rotations including nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and in underground/aerial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent installations and repairs for residential and business internet and phone services.
• Install and configure customer equipment including routers, modems, and Wi-Fi gateways.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and knowledge during service visits.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and service issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete accurate documentation of service activities.
