Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our EnerSys Energy Systems team. You will provide on-site service, maintenance, and repair of battery equipment to keep critical telecom, data center and utility infrastructure running smoothly.

Key duties include traveling to customer sites for installation and preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and delivering on-site training. You will also maintain service records and manage company assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 ½ years of field service experience in electrical, telecom, or energy-related fields.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and test equipment; aptitude exam with 70% passing score.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and manuals.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work non-standard hours, overtime, and overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform installation, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers on safe operation.
• Maintain records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions.
