Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform in-shop and field service activities including installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of batteries and DC power systems. You will troubleshoot equipment, provide on-site assistance, and train customers while maintaining detailed service records.

The role requires travel to customer sites, safe operation of equipment, and readiness for overnight travel as needed, with strong communication to coordinate with customers and EnerSys

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and basic training or experience in field service.
• Basic MS Office skills and Internet proficiency.
• Able to read, comprehend, and write English documents.
• Able to perform basic math and travel as required.
• Willing to work flexible hours and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on batteries, chargers, and DC power equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and provide on-site assistance.
• Train customers and document performance data and reports.
• Operate safely and follow company procedures; may require overnight travel.
