Job summary

EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions with a long history of serving customers worldwide. The Field Service Technician will perform in-shop and on-site service for battery systems, chargers, and DC power equipment, requiring travel to customer sites and hands-on technical work.

You will interact with diverse teams, deliver on-site training, and perform preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and quality across installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or training/experience.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and internet.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service experience in field support is preferred.
• Able to read and write in English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on batteries, chargers, and DC power distribution equipment.
• Interact with customers and internal teams at all organizational levels.
• Provide on-site training on safe operation of equipment to trainees.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and document results.
• Replace defective parts and assist with battery handling and charging areas.
