Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician III to join the Energy Systems team. You will provide advanced on-site support for EnerSys Battery and Systems products, focusing on installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

You will mentor junior technicians, lead small field service projects, and maintain strong safety and quality standards while driving revenue and margins.

Qualifications

• Advanced Field Service Expertise with on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimization to maximize uptime.
• Identify issues and implement preventative measures to avoid downtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert on-site technical support including installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of battery equipment and power systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues using in-depth knowledge and diagnostic tools.
• Lead small field service projects and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Document all service activities and prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
