NCR Atleos in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, service and repair self-checkout systems and ATMs within a defined territory. You’ll diagnose hardware, software and networking issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure secure remote connectivity while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates are locally based, 19+, with a valid driver’s license and basic IT skills.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Local candidate to the specific geographic area.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
• PC skills and basic electronic skills.
• Ability to travel and work rotating/weekend shifts.

Responsabilités

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in an open, helpful, and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.
• Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during standard shifts to meet operational needs; managers will strive to communicate in advance whenever possible to minimize schedule disruptions.
• May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader service coverage; all travel follows established company policy and reimbursement guidelines.
