Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking Field Service Technician II in Roanoke, VA to install, maintain, and service critical self-service equipment for large retailers and banks. You will diagnose hardware, software, and networking issues, and help ensure reliable operation across your territory.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and eager to learn; comprehensive training is provided. The role includes occasional travel and a strong emphasis on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to the specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity.
• Ability to perform essential job functions including travel, rotating shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers in a helpful and professional manner focused on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies and safety standards.
