Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, service, and repair electromechanical equipment including ATMs and self-checkout systems across designated territories. You will receive training, work hands-on with diverse equipment, and travel as needed to meet coverage goals.

The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, customer interaction, and a proven ability to diagnose hardware/software issues while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be local to the specified geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting fleet requirements.
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and OS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing problems proactively when possible.
• Communicate with customers professionally with a focus on resolution.
• Participate in virtual and hands-on training programs provided by NCR Atleos.
• Comply with NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet requirements.
• Perform other related duties consistent with qualifications and business needs.
• May be reassigned to adjacent service territories during shifts; communicate in advance when possible.
• May elect to participate in overnight travel assignments to support broader coverage.
