Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service clients in the Queens/Brooklyn area. You will repair, upgrade and maintain coin/currency equipment, ATMs, software and related office products at customer sites.

The role requires hands-on electromechanical skills, strong communication and the ability to travel extensively with a company vehicle provided. Training and full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a technical/field service role or similar technical field.
• Impeccable integrity and honesty in all tasks.
• Ability to access secured environments; may require licenses per territory.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first approach.
• Professional demeanor; capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail; able to prioritize and proof own work.
• Proficient with iOS, MS Office and Windows OS.
• Able to work independently, set goals, and follow through without coaching.
• Able to meet project deadlines and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel by vehicle to client sites in Queens/Brooklyn (90% daily; 10% overnight).
• Coordinate with branch staff to meet client needs.
• Respond to service requests within contract-specified times.
• Cover extended hours and on-call periods as applicable.
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
• Safeguard company assets including tablets and mobile devices.
• Perform all other duties as required.
