Job summary

Crane Payment Innovations is seeking a Field Service Technician I to service Richmond, VA and surrounding areas. You will perform maintenance on coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software and office products at client sites, traveling 90% of the time with occasional overnight stays.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in a technical or field service role, solid communication skills, and a proactive, customer-first mindset. Training and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• Impeccable integrity and customer-first attitude.
• 1+ years in technician/field service/mechanical role.
• Ability to access secured environments; licenses may be needed.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; personably and team oriented.
• Detail oriented; able to proof and prioritize work.
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows OS.
• Self-starter who can set goals and work without coaching.

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Travel by vehicle daily to client sites (90%), overnight travel 10%.
• Collaborate with branch staff to satisfy client needs.
• Address service requests within contract response times.
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and keep assets secure.
• Attend training at corporate office as required.
• Assist with scheduling and setting up appointments.
