Crane NXT, via its Crane Payment Innovations division, seeks a Field Service Technician I to service Birmingham and surrounding areas with occasional travel to Atlanta. The role involves servicing, upgrading, and maintaining coin and currency equipment, ATMs, software, and client-site devices.

You will work with branch staff to ensure client satisfaction, operate a company-provided vehicle, and participate in overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technical/field service or related role
• Impeccable integrity
• Ability to access secured environments; licenses may be required
• Strong electromechanical aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-first mindset
• Able to work with others at all levels
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office and Windows

Responsabilités

• Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment
• Travel daily to client sites (~90%), overnight travel (~10%)
• Collaborate with branch staff to meet client needs
• Respond to contract-based service requests within designated response times
• Maintain vehicle parts inventory and vehicle cleanliness
• Safeguard assets including tablets and mobile phones
• All other duties as required
