Job description

Canon USA, a leader in technology, solutions, and services, is actively seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver high‑level service for Canon‑supported products.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assets.
• Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines and help achieve branch/district metric targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and successful completion of the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel.
• Required to obtain security and/or other clearances needed to enter customer premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be physically active more than 50 percent of the time.

In accordance with applicable law, the anticipated hourly rate for this role is $19.00 – $26.31. This position is eligible for a transportation allowance.
