Job summary

LG Electronics USA is hiring a Field Service Technician to support the Lexington, KY metro area. Technicians diagnose and repair major appliances, TVs and A/C units at customers' homes, manage inventory, and perform related administrative duties.

Travel to customer sites, use PPE, and follow safety protocols. Strong diagnostic skills, 1 year+ technical experience, valid driver's license, and EPA certification required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.
• Conducts technical diagnosis and performs specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts.
• Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job.
