Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Billerica, MA area to install, repair and calibrate advanced measuring instruments. You’ll undergo a ~3 month in-field training, then travel 70-90% of the time to customer sites across the region.

Qualifications

• GED or technical degree in electronics or industrial mechanics required or equivalent training.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel 70-90% in region.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites in the region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate measuring instruments.
• Engage in about 3 months of in-field and classroom training before applying skills.
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
• Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced environment.
