Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, service, and calibrate high-tech equipment at customer sites. You will travel extensively, up to 90–100% of the time, supporting ZEISS products and collaborating with service and engineering teams.

Strong technical aptitude and customer service skills are required. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment preferred.
• Able to work 50+ hours/week, including OT.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate high-tech machines at customer locations.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional service groups to deploy ZEISS products in the field.
• Support R&D with engineering work related to design, build and testing.
