Job summary

ZEISS in Massachusetts is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites. After a ~3 month training program, you will travel within your region and work hands-on on high-tech CMMs in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or GED; tech school/associate/bachelor in a technical discipline.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system is required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Willing to work minimum 50 hours per week with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites within the region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate CMMs.
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
• Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
