Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate the world’s most advanced measuring instruments across a regional territory. In a rigorous training program, you will travel to customer sites and learn hands-on on high-tech CMMs.

Candidates should have a technical background, be comfortable with 50+ hour weeks, and hold a valid driver’s license. A company vehicle is provided along with travel support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum, High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
Tech School, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or Industrial Mechanics.
Military Technical School experience accepted.
Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
Microsoft Windows operating system knowledge is required.
Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted.
Able and willing to work at least 50 hours per week (including OT).
Valid Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites in your region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate CMMs.
Engage in ~3 month in-field and classroom training to develop skills.
Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
70–90% travel within the region.
