Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, and calibrate high-tech machines at customer sites in the Seattle area. You will interact with customers and cross-functional teams to launch ZEISS products in the field, while supporting R&D with related engineering work.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to travel extensively (90–100%).

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED; technical training preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate high-tech machines at customer sites.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and professionalism.
• Learn new skills related to CMMs and related equipment.
• Complete administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and travel 90–100%.
• Support R&D with related engineering work as needed.
