Job summary
Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites in the Knoxville, TN region. You will travel extensively within your region and document service work accurately, working independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; technical training or military background is valued.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school education or GED; tech school, associate or bachelor’s in a technical discipline.
- Prior experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment is preferred.
- Military technical training or service background acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites.
- Travel 70–90% within the region to various customers and locations.
- Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
- Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced environment.
