Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites across the region. The role involves extensive travel (70–90%), hands-on learning with high-tech CMMs, and documenting service work as you develop technical autonomy.

Candidates should have a technical background (electrical/electronics), be comfortable with tools and electrical test equipment, and hold a valid driver’s license; a high school diploma is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training welcome.
• Willing to travel 70–90% within the region.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work 50+ hours per week.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate advanced measuring instruments at customer sites.
• Travel to a variety of customers, locations and challenges within the region (70–90% travel).
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
• Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
