Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies seeks a seasoned field service technician to work outdoors on heavy lift equipment such as railjacks, forklifts, welders and service trucks, performing repairs and scheduled maintenance. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical issues, document repairs, train customers and colleagues, and travel extensively to customer sites in the U.S.

and Canada as required, while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent with 5–10 years of experience in service and repair of industrial equipment, including hydraulics/electrical/mechanical systems.
• Field-related certificates and endorsements are positively viewed; capable of reading variable schematic logic for low/high voltage electrical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Repair outdoor heavy lift equipment: electrical, hydraulic, diesel and mechanical systems.
• Provide training and technical knowledge on full range of equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service tasks.
• Generate clear work orders and reports; ensure safety, health and environmental compliance.
• Travel domestically and internationally (Canada) to customer sites for service and training.
