Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician in Salt Lake City, UT to deliver reliable service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution for Institutional segments. You’ll support customers, meet safety standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams to enhance the customer experience.

You will operate in a field-based role with travel to nearby locations, enjoy paid training, and receive a company vehicle for business use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of service-related experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
