Job summary

Ecolab in Utah is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution for Institutional customers across hospitality, foodservice, long‑term care, and education sectors. You will support customers, uphold Ecolab Brand Standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams to improve outcomes.

Travel to Salt Lake City and surrounding areas is required; the role features a 10‑hour shift schedule and overnight availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or higher education or certifications preferred.
• 2 years of service-related experience (maintenance, troubleshooting, installation).
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Overnight shifts and emergency call availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively ensure compliance with Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a stocked vehicle and support first-time fixes.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness and deliver a consistent customer experience.
