Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the Chicago, IL market. You will deliver reliable service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across Institutional segments, supporting customer programs and preserving Ecolab Brand Standards.

You'll work a 10-hour shift schedule with Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday options, including travel to nearby locations. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and ensure adherence to Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a well-stocked vehicle and support first-time fix.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab’s total value to customers and strengthen relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness.
