Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team in the field. The role focuses on proficient repair and service of customer equipment, maintaining strong customer relationships, and upholding safety guidelines per OSHA.

Travel within assigned territories with a company vehicle is required. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of breakdown or service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years breakdown or service experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely, neat, accurate manner.
• Communicate options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Maintain necessary tools and perform repair and scheduled service work.
• Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and workspace.
• Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification when applicable.
