Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and service customer equipment and maintain strong communication with customers and management. The role emphasizes representing the company, exceeding productivity goals, and following safety guidelines.

The position requires travel within assigned territories, a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided, and overtime may be required. A high school diploma or GED is required along with 3 years of field service or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.
• Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work.
• Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
