Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment at customer locations. The role offers a company vehicle and gas card and focuses on safety and customer satisfaction.

Travel within assigned territories daily; overtime may be required. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of field service experience; valid driver’s license and ability to read safety materials are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.
• Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.
