Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment at customer locations. You will work in the field with a company vehicle and fuel card, traveling within assigned territories to complete installations and service calls.

Required are strong mechanical abilities, 3+ years breakdown experience, and a commitment to safety. The role includes extensive customer interaction and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and timely.
• Communicate options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Maintain assigned tools and vehicle.
• Complete jobs within quoted time limits.
• Maintain a clean and neat vehicle and workspace.
• Report accidents and maintain time usage.
