Job summary

POWERX in the United States delivers electrical protection, testing, and commissioning services for power infrastructure. The Field Service Technician (NETA 2) performs basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection, setup and removal of test equipment, and operates with limited supervision.

Travel up to 50% is required; you’ll co-lead projects with lead technicians and prepare client reports. A high school diploma or GED is required, NETA Level 2 certification is preferred, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• NETA Level 2 certification preferred; MS Office proficiency expected.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test equipment setup/removal and data collection.
• Write detailed, timely reports on test results and findings.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and record data accurately.
• Assist in project coordination and client communication as needed.
