Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 1) to assist with basic measurements, test equipment setup and removal, and initial acceptance testing. You’ll contribute to safety, quality, and reliability while supporting field activities across the United States and Canada.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, equipment care, and teamwork with senior technicians. Travel up to 50% is expected, with growth opportunities in a values-driven, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and operate in potentially hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove test equipment for testing activities.
• Perform basic electrical measurements under guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of test equipment.
• Assist field team and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Record measurement data accurately and report findings.
