Job summary

The Field Service Technician (NETA 2) conducts basic electrical inspections, tests and data collection, setting up and removing test equipment, and performs basic acceptance and maintenance testing with limited supervision. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required; an associate’s degree from a accredited 2-year technical college or trade school is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the field.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED, Power DB training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test for de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment (LOTO).
• Collect and record test data accurately.
