Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and measurements, and collect data for reports. The role involves setting up and removing test equipment, conducting basic acceptance and maintenance testing, and following hazardous energy procedures with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), and relevant certifications (NETA 2 preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• NETA level 2 certification preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED; PPE training a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical tests and measurements under limited supervision.
• Set up and remove test equipment; collect data and document results.
• Co-lead projects and report to client.
• Travel up to 50% and work overtime as needed.
• Maintain and handle test equipment; ensure safe practices.
