Job summary

POWERX Co is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and measurements while gathering and documenting data for client reports. The role includes setting up test equipment, executing acceptance and maintenance tests, and following hazardous energy procedures with limited supervision.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED (associate’s degree preferred), and OSHA 30+ NFPA certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; an associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
• At least 2+ years of field experience in electrical testing or related work.
• Certifications such as OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Set up and remove test equipment; collect and record data accurately.
• Write detailed test reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and data documentation.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safety and compliance.
