Job summary

POWERX, a leading electrical services firm in Phoenix, is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, testing, and data collection on energy systems.

You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct maintenance testing, and generate detailed reports under limited supervision, while adhering to hazardous energy procedures and safety standards. A strong customer-service approach and solid communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree from a technical college or trade school is preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in field service or electrical testing.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training or equivalents are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized, locked out/tagged out equipment and collect data.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submission.
• Assist in setting up and removing test equipment and maintain tools and work areas.
