Job summary

POWERX seeks a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection in the field. You will set up and remove test equipment, conduct maintenance testing, and follow hazardous energy procedures with limited supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years experience, and OSHA/related trainings, with NETA 2 preferred. Travel up to 50% is expected and excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test de-energized equipment and record data accurately.
• Set up/remove test equipment and maintain cleanliness of tools and area.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submission.
